League leaders Tools and Equipment continued its winning ways, clearing the lanes on the way to a 26-4 triumph over Team Spirit. Again, Dean Lightbourne led the way, scoring a top series of 596 and third high game of 214 in aiding Equipment to a 2,718 team series total, best on the night.
Time passed, but the `blow-out' scenario remained as Dr. Pepper stomped all over Spoilers 27-3, while Marlboro smoked Thompsons 23-7.
The night's final match did provide a measure of even competitiveness, with Stevedoring Services winning a close affair against Franklin Travel 17-13.

HARNESS RACING RAH Last weekend's action on the track at Vesey Street saw several record double wins, as competitors lined up for the annual Boxing Day racing extravaganza.
Leading the way was A/B's Elite, driven by Annie Sousa, with two more wins to stretch her winning streak to eight consecutive race wins in the 1:24-slower time bar.
On both occasions Michael Rodrigues' Tanaway was the victim, being edged out by a mere fraction of a second in the first race, but being comprehensively whipped the next time out.
Likewise, Timmy Boyles and his pony Todd's Ebony were successful in two outings riding among the 1:16-1:19/4 bar, besting the likes of Abby (Pascual Duckett), T.W. Second Try (Fernando Rego) and Dark and Stormy, with father Claude Boyles at the reins.
Another double winner was Nicholas DeCosta's Bad Boy Toy, which pushed out of the 1:16-19/4 with two sub 1:15 clockings. Also moving up was Paceway Debutante (David Mello), while Francis DeSilva's Bermuda Warrior now has one leg out of the bar.
Others enjoying equal success were Abby Dabby Doo (Charles Whited), Abbies Cassanova (Francis DeSilva), Carolina Jubilee (Murray Terceira) and Eddie the Great (Michael DeCosta).
POOL POO Vasco I joined the idle Swinging Doors I with a 7-0 record after latest action saw Hamilton Parish II beat fourth-placed Robin Hood I 224-141.
Swinging Doors I hold a slim lead at the top as they and Vasco I remain the only teams with perfect records. Vasco I trampled over Sandys Boat Club 222-152 while in an upset Hamilton Parish II blasted Robin Hood I 224-141.
Hamilton Parish I just made it past Swinging Doors II 186-184 while in other play Docksiders came up on top against Robin Hood II in a very tight match 199-196. Mariners beat Vasco II 212-180 and War Vets got the best of Vasco II 196-183.
Three players achieved perfect scores of 50, Greg Falzone, Joe Mathias and Brian Walker.
SOCCER SOC There will be a meeting tonight at 6.30 for Bermuda Under-23 players who are attending school overseas but are back home for the holidays. The meeting, concerning the Pan Am Games, takes place at the BFA office.
