Bermuda, the youngest of 16 countries competing, as they avoided Uraguay and Cuba who both have players ranked in the top 1000 in the world.
Bermuda, containing Danielle Paynter, Zara DeSilva, Tara Lambert and Danielle Downey, are in Pool D with Jamaica, Peru, Antigua and Barbuda.
Uruguay head Pool A which is also made up of Dominican Republic, Guatamala and Costa Rica while Cuba are in Pool B with El Salvador, Bahamas and Haiti.
Barbados, Panama, Bolivia and Trinidad and Tobago are in Pool C.
"It's a good draw and everyone is positive,'' said Bermuda's team captain Kelly Holland yesterday.
Two teams from each group go through to the knockout stage after the round robin matches.

Robinson's next challenge will come from David Michael, who beat the experienced Marino Bartoli 9-2, 1-9, 10-9, 3-9, 10-8.
The only woman seed to fall was Ann Mitchell, who was beaten 9-5, 9-4, 9-7 by the promising and focussed Alison Cameron in Ladies Division Two.
In the Junior Division, a determined Christopher Sgobba fought off a strong challenge from Richard Arnold, 9-3, 3-9, 6-9, 9-6, 9-3, in an epic encounter.
Storms postpone golf tournament Lightning and heavy rain caused the postponement of the first day of the Founder's Trophy Tournament at the Mid Ocean Club yesterday.
A field of more than 150 golfers will instead start the tournament today, running directly through to Friday.
