BAA Gym was packed for the occasion, which saw nine hotly-contested bouts.

Colin Bretherton's victory over Richard O'Toole was judged to be the fight of the night, but there were plenty of memorable blows landed in the eight other encounters.

The female duel, in which Alyssia Bell overcame the challenge of Shelley Bell, brought sound levels at ringside to deafening pitch as an enthusiastic crowd witnessed a unique first for Bermuda boxing.

Peter O'Toole earned the fighter of the night award for his valiant display in losing out to Steve Jones, while Nick Doran produced the night's only knockout to win his bout with Nick Sutton.

Alan Oliver got the evening underway when he won a decision over Gerry Paddock, and Andrew Correia rounded it off with a victory over Pat Jones.

The remaining bouts saw Ian McLellan overwhelm Ron Hook, Gary Osborne get the better of Scott Correia, and Andre Simons defeat Clive Hook.
