Leaders St. George's look to right the ship following a shock midweek loss to lowly Boulevard that sent them crashing from the Shield competition, dashing whatever designs the East Enders may have had on the double.
They will have to have all their wits about them as they travel to Police Field to tackle a very unpredictable Prospect outfit, one which gave Paget all they could handle, before finally succumbing to the Ord Road club last Tuesday night.
With a four point lead, a game in hand, and having conquered the hurdle of nearest challengers Paget a week ago, St. George's appear to have a clear path to promotion, however player/coach, Neil Paynter, will want to guard against complacency in the ranks, something that should have been hammered home by the Boulevard result.
For Paget the mandate is clear ... win, win, win! But alas, even if they do, they still look unlikely candidates for the sure route to the Premier Division, as they will need a great deal of help from St.
George's to get on such a track, a very unlikely occurrence.
Sunday's opposition will be landlords Somerset Eagles at White Hill, and it's anyone's guess which home side will turn up.
Eagles have been their trademark erratic selves, with no two weeks the same.
At one time world beaters, and other times absolutely clueless, something emphasised by their 2-3-2 record.
The final match sees another unpredictable bunch, Hamilton Parish, hosting Ireland Rangers, a side very much on the rise of late.
With the system of three points for a win and one for a draw, Rangers still maintain a solid chance of earning the second spot for a promotion play-off.
