Frog & Onion kept their perfect record with an 11-8, 11-9 win over Armadillos in their only match. Armadillos bounced back to beat FC Brewers 12-10, 11-7 to post a 3-1 record from four matches.
Kontrast also moved to 3-1 after wins over Bank of Bermuda (11-5, 11-8) and Archemedes (11-0, 11-4).
In the B Division, Wind Reach, Kraft and MCS all have four wins from five matches following Tuesday's matches, which saw Wind Reach beat Kraft 4-11, 11-5, 11-6 and Gray & Kempe 11-5, 11-4. Gray & Kempe are winless after six matches.
Kraft bounced back from their first loss to beat Shakey Ground 11-3, 3-11, 11-4 in their second match of the evening. The other team with a 4-1 record, MCS, also had a win and a loss this week.
MCS beat First Bermuda Securties 11-2, 11-8 in their opening match before losing to Cooper & Lines 11-8, 11-7 in their second. In the other match, First Securities beat Gray & Kempe 5-11, 11-0, 11-7.
SOCCER SOC Paget Community Club have called a meeting for Monday at Paget Primary School starting at 7 p.m. Coach Tyrone Williams will introduce a new coaching programme and discuss goals for the 1994-95 season.
All interested players and supporters are invited to attend.
Members of the League XI, which is to play a Commercial League Select on May 14, are reminded of Sunday's training session at the National Stadium starting at 10 a.m.
The match next Saturday is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at the National Stadium.
GOLF GLF Bailey's Bay golf section are in front with 509 strokes after two rounds in the four inter-club competition.
Ocean View are second on 526 points with Mid Atlantic Boat Club and Village Room tied on 535 strokes. The third round of competition will be held at Ocean View on Sunday, May 22.
Meanwhile, the next Village Room Stableford Tournament will be at Ocean View on May 14. Interested players should sign up at the club or enter by calling Ocean View.
BASKETBALL BAS The Bermuda Basketball Association's Summer League begins in mid-June with a new format.
League officials are planning to divide the teams into two divisions, one for the more competitive involving about 10 teams and the other for the non-competitive teams, between four and six.
