Harness racing
and will move up a class in the next harness pony race day series.
Anthony Rego's Tina's Princess had two legs out of the 1:19-1:24/4 time bar and moves up to the 1:16-1:18/4 time bar; Fernando Rego with J.B.'s T.W. Bell and Edward Roque's V Six both had one leg out from previous races and raced out a leg on Sunday as well.
This puts them into the 1:13-1:15/4 bar and this time bar will have to be split into division as there are now seven ponies all racing within 24/5 seconds of each other. The time bar will be incredibly competitive with T.W.
Bell and V Six joining Hoe Down Don, Sandacre Tashiba, Eddie The Great, Little Dinger and L&S Mowtown Scott.
Misty's Little Dream, with new driver Tony Adcock, made her debut this season and won both heats in the 1:19-1:24/4 time bar. Misty was given a setback into a lower time bar because of a new driver, but they will not stay in this bar very long as last season Misty was in the 16 bar.
Derek Cocklin and Bermuda Warrior also returned to the track after almost a year off with a tendon injury. Wisely Docklin cruised with Warrior, being his first time out, placing third twice. But this is another pony who has shown a lot of speed.
The 1:13-1:15/4 bar saw two wins for Eddie The Great, the first heat being driven by his own owner Michael DeCosta and the second heat by Keith Woodley.
Little Dinger was scratched from the race so Eddie's only competition was a very game Sandacre Tashiba, who came in a very close second in both heats.
Surprisingly, Michael DeCosta and Nateway were beaten for the first time this season in a very exciting first heat of the Free For All. Grand Magic, who had pole position, led all the way with Tom Matthews and Catch A Fire, and Nateway challenging further behind.
Nateway managed to pip Catch A Fire at the post but he just did not have enough left to pass Grand Magic. In the second heat, however, it was a different story when Nateway powered out and led from the start to finish over two seconds ahead of Grand Magic and Catch A Fire.
BOWLING BOW Action in the Miller High Life League is starting to show signs of improving scores with the results of last week being higher than usual.

It took a consistent team effort with Ty Williams, Conrad Lister and Antoine Jones rolling within one pin of each other while only Clem Lespere could maintain average for the losers.
Spoilers managed to take a 21-9 win from Team Spirit. For the winners it was Duncan Newby's 222 game that helped him roll the high series for his team while Quinton Hayward was the top kegler for the losers.
The final two matches produced the majority of high scores, starting with Franklin Travel's 181 -111 win over Gosling's, which gave the latter a short-lived one-week stay at the top of the table.
Steven Paul's 600 series was the driving force for Franklin to lead them towards the evening's third high game and series of 955 and 2,694.
Individually, it was Steven Wales' high game of 236 that helped in their cause.
The final match was a duel between two top teams with Tomp's Towing Service moving into first place with their 18-12 win over Marlboro. After two close games Tomp's loaded up the third to roll the high game of the night (1,015) and also the high team series of 2,879.
Marlboro were second in both categories, rolling a 979 game and 2,842 series.
Chris Bardgett rolled the night's top series of 641 as he was assisted by Doug Hines' 608 series while for the winners it was Victor Thompson's second high series of 630. Second high individual game was ironically shared among team-mates Kevin Swan, Carson Bean and Allan Thompson, all rolling 235 games.
This week's schedule: T&E v Team Spirit; Gosling's v Tomps; Signature Card v Franklin; New Mix Ups v Marlboro; Stevedoring v Spoilers.
