Heats for the Harbour Club Championships at the BASA pool began last night, kicking off one of the busiest weeks on the local swimming calendar. The event
Heats will end tomorrow with the finals taking place on Saturday. Overseas swimmers are from England, Canada, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Bermuda has over 90 youngsters competing.
The girls 13-14 category is expected to be competitive with locals Elisha Miller and Zoe Roberts facing overseas swimmers.
Also, Alicia Mullan and Trevor Ferguson will be swimming in an 800 metres and 1500 metres time trial.
SOCCER SOC North Village will hold a soccer clinic next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Bernard Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The clinic is open to boys and girls aged five to 15 years, and registration will take place at the North Village club today and tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m.
