Husband and wife sailors Brett and Sara Lane Wright are lying 21st and 19th overall in their respective divisions after the opening two races of the North

In big seas with winds between 18 and 22 knots, Sara posted finishes of 20th and 21st in a fleet of 39 Laser Radials, and is currently second among the women, while Brett, competing in a Laser fleet of 90, placed 24th in both of his races.

New Zealander Alan Couts leads the Lasers division with a first and a fourth while fellow Kiwi Stepeh Keen leads the Laser Radials with a first and a second.

Racing continues through the weekend.

OLYMPICS OLY North Village Community Club president Rudolph Hollis has been selected to represent Bermuda at an International Olympic Committee seminar later this month.

Hollis, a senior planner at the Ministry of the Environment, will travel to Bridgetown, Barbados for the July 21-22 seminar which is aimed at National Olympic Committees from Central America and the Caribbean and will deal with the subject of "Sport and the Environment''.

Topics to be discussed include "Environmental challenges in the region'' and "Government's responsibility in environmental issues''.
