Island hosts Rosebowl: Bermuda Brief
Championships has come again, with the event scheduled for next week at the Devonshire Courts.
The Rosebowl tournament started in 1965 and is the oldest Caribbean international squash team competition. It is held annually between Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Bahamas, with each country represented by four teams of five players in Men's A, Men's B, Ladies A and a Veteran's team, together with reserves.
Trophies are awarded in each category as well as for the best overall team.
The event is staged every April and is hosted by each country in rotation.
Schedule Thursday: 10.30 Cayman v Jamaica; 5.30 Opening ceremonies; 6.00 Bermuda v Bahamas Friday: 10.30 a.m. Cayman v Bahamas; 6.00 Bermuda v Jamaica Saturday: 10.30 Bahamas v Jamaica; 2.00 Bermuda v Cayman; 8.00 Prize presentation.
