In the other quarter-final played last night, Chase Toogood raced past Barbadian Harry Mackenzie in three straight.
Denise Kyme continued to impress on her way to the Ladies Division One semi-finals, beating Anita Swan 3-0.
Also in a quarter-final match, Tessa Mackenzie took less than 25 minutes to despatch Suzanne Rose. She now meets Kyme in the semis.
HARNETT IN BCUA HOT SEAT CRI Harnett in BCUA hot seat Long-serving official Lester Harnett was elected president of Bermuda Cricket Umpires Association at their annual general meeting last week.
He replaced Wilbur Pitcher who did not run this time around. There were other changes to the executive committee as well with Stephen West running unopposed as vice-president.
Randy Butler returned as secretary, exchanging places with Stephen Douglas who is now the assistant secretary and treasurer. Butler defeated Douglas in the balloting for secretary, beating him out by just a single vote.
