In the under-16 boys event, reigning under-14 champion James Stout eased past Steven Miller, before also beating last year's runner-up, Edward Sears, of Guyana, also 3-0.
Stout was due to face number one seed Gavin Cumberbatch of Barbados in the semi-finals.
Tallent Clarke and Justin Robinson both lost their first-round matches.
In the under-14 boys, Michael Shrubb and Andrew Robinson recorded impressive first-round victories over John Davis and Brad Love respectively.
But both went out 3-0 to Guyanese opponents in the next round, Shrubb losing to Damien DaSilva and Robinson to Ryan Farnum.
Ian Redford cruised through the first round of the under-12 event, defeating Andrew Bennety 3-0, before going down by the same margin to number one seed Bryant Cumberbaton.
Andrew Stout defeated Kirsten Jeffrey of Guyana 3-0 despite going off in the third game with stomach cramps.
The only Bermuda winner in the girls event was Laura Robinson in the under-12 event. She thrashed Daina King of Guyana 3-0 and meets Kristina King, also of Guyana, in the semi-finals.
