Belmont after his three-over-par 73 enabled him to beat Aaron James by one stroke.

Aaron Burrows was four strokes back on 78.

Group four winner was Anthony Smith on 81, edging out Nick Dunkle on retrogression. Ryan Marshall was second on 86.

In group three, played over 13 holes, Michael Elton finished on 61 while Shanna Trott was one stroke back on 62. Doug Markey was third on 63.

Sam Riihiluoma led group one when he carded a 43 over nine holes to edge out Darius Gordyk on retrogression. They were followed closely by Jamie MacMillan on 44.

The novices played five holes at Riddell's Bay with Mark Phillips first on 26 while Nick Jones was second on 31 and Alex Harlington third on 32.
