Morgan, a Port Royal member, scored a convincing 5 and 4 victory over Karin Gallin.

Her semi-final opponent today will be Helen Stovell who edged Bermuda's Madeline Joell 2 and 1.

The other semi-final will be between two-time winner Lisa Griffin and last year's beaten finalist Lee Ann Vogel.

Griffin defeated Bonnie Tyler 4 and 3 while Vogel eliminated Hannah Butlersteel by the same score.

In yesterday's only first flight match, Carol Hammond beat Sandra Hutchings 4 and 2.
