National Stadium with American teams FC Delco and New Jersey Clark Comets
Delco, boosted by goals in the eighth and 19th minutes, went on to beat Bermuda White 3-1 while the Comets proved far too strong for Bermuda's under- 19 team as they routed them 7-2.
Parham Parsa opened the scoring for Delco before Jerre McCann made it 2-0 11 minutes later with the first of his two goals.
The best of the few Bermuda chances in the first half fell to defender Joey Rego who went close with a header after pushing forward for a corner and then striker Damon Ming who raced through the Delco defence down the left side before goalkeeper Keith Poole blocked his effort.
At the other end, Parsa got through on the left but had his shot blocked by Bermuda 'keeper Thomas Smith's legs.
In the second half, Ming glanced a header straight at the 'keeper and then drove a free kick wide as Bermuda started to come back. But Delco looked the better-drilled team and put the issue beyond doubt in the last minute when McCann scored his second goal.
The Comets outclassed Bermuda in the under-19 final after getting off to an early 2-0 lead through two goals from Richie Eger. Bermuda looked promising during the opening minutes of a fast-paced match.
Two early goals in the second half, by Matthew Kinsey and an own goal by Damon Francis in the 11th and 15th minutes, enabled the Comets to open a confortable 4-0 lead.
Another own goal, by Matthew Whelpley, got Bermuda on the scoresheet before Jason Kenig netted the first of his two goals. Julian Francis pulled another goal back for Bermuda and then Kinsey closed out the scoring in the 87th minute.
