Old Colony Club III's Chris Crick stole the spotlight with a dazzling display of potting skills against Sandys Sport Club II in Bermuda Snooker League
Crick ran the brown, blue and pink balls home to defeat veteran Zane DeSilva 48-32.
Crick later teamed up with Warren Harris to beat Timmy Pedro and David DeSilva 61-45, and was later named Second Division player of the week.
But his efforts were in vain as only Steve Soares could produce another win for the OCC team.
Anthony and David DeSilva won singles matches for Sandys and the team of T.Corday and R.Patterson then ensured victory for the West Enders.
In other Second Division action, Queens II slammed Spanish Point Boat Club 5-1. Chance McLean, Chris Dakin and Ed Gumbs all won singles matches and the pairings of Gumbs and Dakin and Paula Madeiros and McLean posted doubles wins.
Kenny Wheatley of Spanish Point garnered a point with a 43-16 win over P.Madeiros.
Sandys Boat Club, meanwhile, extended their Second Division lead by defeating Police Recreation Club 4-2.
The highlight of the night was a fine break of 35 by PRC's undefeated Andy Wright who got past Martin Siese 63-27. The other winner for Police was Andy Hall downed G.Connor 55-31. Winning for Sandys were Mike Tatem and C.Young in singles and the teams of Siese and Connor, and Young and Tatem in doubles.
First Division Sandys Sports Club I rolled over an undermanned Old Colony Club I 5-1 with singles wins from Lawrence DeSilva, Tony DeSilva and Greg Falzone along with doubles wins from from Timmy Simmons and L.DeSilva, and Falzone and T.DeSilva.
Terry Southern prevented the whitewash when he edged `Sticks' Henderson 64-55.
Lawrence DeSilva was named First Division player of the week.
Pacesetting National Sports Club kept up a torrid pace by defeating Queens Club I 5-1. In a clash of stars Paul Charleton edged previously unbeaten Stephen Roberts 55-48.
Steve Pantry collected his first win of the year when he beat Graham Williams 56-46 and Brian Walker claimed another point for Nationals when he pipped Glenn Flood 57-50.
Eddie Roberts pulled back a point for Queens when he made pressure pots on both the blue and pink to gain revenge against Tyler Moniz whom he had lost to earlier in the season.
But Nationals claimed both doubles matches to run their season doubles record to an impressive 13-1.
CHESS CHS Richard Robinson edged out Nick Faulks for top honours as the Hennessy tournament concluded last week.
After the two players had finished tied with five and a half points, they agreed to settle matters with a five minute blitz game from which Robinson emerged triumphant.
Richard Farleigh who was absent for the first leg, notched up three wins to add to his two bye points, thus securing third place while Brian Stephenson finished fourth.
