Pearman had a two-round score of 149 while Trott trails on 151. Lying third are veterans Frankie Rabain and Keith Smith on 159.

Trott, who trailed Pearman by four strokes after Monday's opening round, carded a two-over-par 73 yesterday while the leader slipped somewhat and only managed a mediocre 75.
