three wins during the Boxing Day Pepsi Classic at Coney Island.

Smith went home with his first Classic trophy in the pee wee class while Brimmer was the defending 60cc champion. He stamped his authority over the class by winning all three motos, while Gary Cann placed second with three seconds and two-time pee wee 50 champion Brandon DeSilva took third on his first ride in the 60cc class.

There were plenty of scraps in the combined 80cc and 80 expert classes involving Treadwell Nesbitt, Shaki Easton, Sean DeSilva and the Panchaud brothers.

Steven Panchaud won the first and second motos on his way to first overall.

Sean DeSilva was second overall with a second, fourth and first while Easton took third with a third and two seconds.

DeSilva led the last moto with Easton, the Panchaud brothers and Nesbitt in hot pursuit. Craig Panchaud passed Steven Panchaud for third and closed in on Easton who was chasing the second place trophy. When the checkered flag fell, DeSilva won his first race for the year while Craig Panchaud slipped past Easton for first in the 80 Expert class and second overall.

Carlston Burgess won his first Boxing Day event in the 125 C class where he had three firsts. Ali Hatherley was second and Wentworth Tucker third.

There were only two 125 B class riders with Charles Butterfield beating Kyle Constable two wins to one.
