Maria Conroy-Haydon still lead the Peat Marwick Road Running series with two races to go.

Perry's eight points from his second place gives him a comfortable 18 point lead over Brett Forgesson and Kavin Smith in the open male category. Perry, with five wins and two second places in the 11 races, has 72 points while Brett Forgesson and Kavin Smith are tied on 54 points. Tracy Wright is fourth.

Conroy-Haydon leads the open female category with 72 points, 12 points ahead of Anna Eatherley in second place. Eatherley won the women's division of the Marathon Derby with Conroy-Haydon finishing second. Third in the Peat Marwick series is Lynn Kynoch on 59 points with Jane Christie fourth on 46.

The lead changed in the male masters category where Harry Patchett took over from Jeremy Ball following his recent masters win in the Marathon Derby.

Peggy Couper extended her lead over Sandra Mewett in the female masters to 10 points after her second place in that category in the last race, combined with Mewett's absence, gave her some breathing space. Margaret Young is third on 46 points.
