A source, who wished to remain anonymous, said one youngster aimed a kick at match official Gregory Smith as others confronted him and hurled abuse.

The incident happened after the Under-15 KO Cup game between PHC and Dandy Town at Southampton Oval on March 13.

Town lost 4-0 and their coach Troy Wilkinson is alleged by the source to have blocked the doorway of the referee's changing room for some time to prevent him from getting out. Then the players vented their frustration.
