Reggie Saunders pocketed a total of $374 to become the week's big winner at the American Airlines Bowling Spectacular on Tuesday.
Saunders collected after taking wins in high scratch series (611), high scratch game (211) and high handicap series (680).
Another $72 went to Alan Thompson, who rolled a 236 for the high scratch game.
ROAD RACING RUN One of the biggest fields on the running calendar took part in the St. George Weight Handicap 5K on Tuesday.
Brett Forgesson and Jane Christie were the fastest men's and women's runners, beating out 110 other racers and some 40 walkers.
Forgesson completed the five-kilometre course in 16 minutes and 29 seconds while Christie clocked 19:40 to finish 20th overall.
But the race was handicapped according to each runner's weight. That menat Conrad Stolz, a visitor from South Africa, and Barbara Clemens were the respective winners of the handicap portion.
TENNIS TEN Craig Bean faces a marathon of tennis today at the Pomander Gate Junior Tournament.
Bean will compete in four matches, beginning at 8 a.m. He is trying to win the boys under-14 and under-16 singles and the boys under-14 doubles.
Amy Roach and Sasha Fisher are the only other players still in three events.
Semi-finals and finals take place today and tomorrow.
