Robin Hood wallop Wolves

Wanderers and Hood, of the Commercial Division A, both won 5-0 while Forties got by Spinning Wheel 5-2. Libor Kreml scored a hat-trick and Allistair Smith and Frankie Brewster got one each to push aside Fire Service of the B Division.
Colin Alexander netted twice on his birthday to lead Robin Hood to a 5-0 win over Wolves Pack, having led 2-0 at the half. Other Robin Hood goals came from John Beardsley, Jeff Alpaugh and substitute Andy Large.
The leading scorer was Forties' Andrew Robinson who netted four times in his team's 5-2 win over Spinning Wheel. Roy Fellows got the other Forties goal.
Des Minors netted both Wheel goals against his former team-mates but it wasn't to be enough.
Other Division A teams to advance were Island Rangers and Exiles who both won by the odd goal in five against teams from the lower division. Island Rangers got by Park United 3-2 as George Braithwaite (penalty) and Elvis Edness got the Park goals.
Craig Tyrrell found the net twice and Martin Siese once as Exiles edged by Somerset Extros. George Brangman and Donnie Simmons replied for the Extros.
Devonshire All-Stars beat Valley 3-1 with Jeff Richardson, Jimmy Tweed and Larry Benjamin scoring for All-Stars and Kevin McNeil for Valley. Prison Officers beat St. George's All-Stars 4-1. The match between North Village Rams and Lobster Pot will be rescheduled.
