complete yesterday's 22nd annual US Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.Newton Adcock clocked three hours, 19 minutes and 45 seconds, Eddie Benjamin 3:46:19, and Glennys Benjamin 3:46:50, the latter a personal best by almost 25 minutes.

Newton Adcock clocked three hours, 19 minutes and 45 seconds, Eddie Benjamin 3:46:19, and Glennys Benjamin 3:46:50, the latter a personal best by almost 25 minutes.
The 26.2 mile race, run in temperatures in the upper 40s and continuous rain, was won by Maryland's Darrell General in 2:18:20. Donna Moore, of Maryland, was the first woman 2:53:42.
Next Sunday will see more than 40 Bermuda runners take part in the New York Marathon.
