The pair ended the week's competition on Sydney Harbour in 14th place on 113 points in the 420 category, two points behind the team from the Netherlands.

In their final two races the girls finished 11th and 18th.

Earlier in the week they had reached as high as 11th out of the 21 competitors and even won one of the races.

The boys' team of Jonathan Carter and Giles Spurling finished last out of 28 competitors in their 420 class.

It was a disappointing week for the pair whose highest finish was 24th place, which they achieved in two of the 12 races.
