Second-placed BAA Wanderers moved to within two points of the leaders with a 1-0 victory over Spinning Wheel at BAA Field, thanks to a goal from Steve Irvine.

Fourth-placed Lobster Pot, meanwhile, enjoyed a field day against North Village, winning 5-1 at White Hill.

Andy McCulloch led Pot with two goals while Bill Spencer and Mark Moffitt each netted once. Kenny Thompson scored a consolation goal for Village.

Island Rangers beat MR Onions 3-1 at Shelly Bay with goals from Troy Berkeley and Keith Bremer (2). Neil Clemens scored for the losers.

In the `B' Division, leaders Prison Officers were held to a 1-1 draw against Bermuda Pest Control at Shelly Bay. A.Scott scored for the Officers and A.Francis replied for BPC.

Second-placed Somerset Extros edged Valley 4-3 with Stevie Riley slamming a hat-trick, including a penalty, for the winners. Everett Wellman got Extros' fourth. Scoring for Valley were Joseph Moniz (2) and Kevin Isaac.

Third-placed Forties slammed Devonshire Lions 5-2 with Mike Williams helping himself to four goals and Brian Fubler one. Donald Norford and Glanville DeShields netted for Lions.

Mariners and St. George's drew 1-1, Richard Correia scoring for Mariners.

The other game saw Exiles and Belco draw 3-3. Hugh Hollis, Diago Fernandez and Craig Tyrrell scored for Exiles while Michael Brangman hit a hat-trick for Belco.
