top team all but resigned themselves to another season in the bottom division.

The loss at Bernard Park was a heavy one as Social club, the only team to inflict defeat on PHC in the league this season, found themselves trailing 6-0 at the half. The sending off of Social Club goalkeeper Dyke Lawrence just before the half might have been significant, but the home team were already trailing 4-0 at that stage.

The Zebras never looked back after Duval Wilson gave them the lead after just seven minutes. Stephen Astwood added the second in the 20th minute before top striker Kenny Mills scored the first of his four goals on the half hour to make it 3-0.

The incident which brought Mills his second goal came in the 40th minute when Mills was fouled inside the box. Dyke Lawrence in the Social Club goal was booked for time wasting when, with Mills waiting to take the penalty, he ran back and forth across his goalline, touching both posts and slapping the crossbar.

When the yellow card came out, Lawrence told referee Gregory Smith he was getting ready and when he delayed the kick further by pulling the same antics, Smith lost his patience and whipped out the red card. Mills eventually scored from the spot as Desai Jones came on as sub and went in goal.

Two more PHC goals came before the half with Duval Wilson adding a second after Mills squared the ball back to him in the 42nd minute and Mills completing his hat-trick a minute before the break with a low shot.

Two more PHC goals came in the 55th minute and 74th minutes to complete the rout, as the second half went without further incident and only one more booking. Four Social Club players were booked and one from PHC.

Mills scored his fourth goal with fullback Michael Williams deserving some credit after a good move down the right flank. Substitute Daniel Caines completed the scoring with a volley past Jones.

St. David's 4 Prospect 2 Lionel Cann matched Mills' four-goal effort, and his contribution at St.

David's proved more vital as St. David's came from a goal down to snatch victory and stay in the promotion hunt.

Midfielder Robert Goodchild broke the deadlock for third-placed Prospect in the 17th minute, a lead that was finally cancelled out in the last minute of the half when Cann opened his account.

And it wasn't until Prospect took the lead again in the 57th minute through Najie Woods that St. David's finally heeded the wakeup call with Cann scoring three times in the last 11 minutes to seal the win that leaves St. David's firmly in second place. Cann scored in the 79th, 81st and 90th minutes.

St. George's 1 Paget 1 Paget had to borrow jerseys from the home team and then proceeded to snatch a point off their hosts at Wellington Oval.

A mix-up resulted in Paget arriving at the ground without any jerseys and having to borrow a set from St. George's, who opened the scoring in the 18th minute through Clifton Simmons.

Jermayn Pond equalised for Paget five minutes into the second half to snatch a draw and stay ahead of St. George's on goal difference near the foot of the tables.

Som.Eagles 2 Ir. Rangers 1 A second goal after 79 minutes by Eddie Callender enabled promotion chasing Eagles to take maximum points from this important match at White Hill. Until Callendar clinched the win with his fine effort, the teams were involved in a 1-1 deadlock on goals scored during the first half.

Callender had put Eagles ahead after 35 minutes only to see the visitors equalise through Mike Mendes after 42 minutes.

Ireland Rangers were reduced to 10 players after 81 minutes when Roger Williams was sent off for using foul language at one of his own players.
