Two of her Wake Forest team-mates, Stephanie Neill and Tori Boysen, finished the tournament in first and fourth places respectively.

Marshall shot scores of 84, 81 and 76 to finish in a four-way tie for 10th spot at 231.

The strong performance by the Wake Forest women enabled the team to win the tournament title, their first since capturing the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational in March.

Junior Stephanie Neill, a two-time All-American, helped the Deacons to the crown after shooting an even-par 73 on the final day of the tournament. For Neill, it marked the fourth individual championship of her career.

After firing an opening-round 75, Neill rebounded to shoot a one-under-par 72 to take command after two rounds. She edged Duke's Stephanie Sparks and Tennessee's Katharina Larsson, who both finished three strokes back at 223.

Last season, the Deacons -- with Marshall an integral part of the team -- qualified for the NCAA championships for the first time and finished in seventh place.
