Runeko Edwards crashed in the second race of the 80cc class and was taken by ambulance to hospital with a leg injury.
Instead of continuing the programme without the volunteer St. John's Ambulance Brigade, the Coney Island races were suspended for the day.
The smaller classes held two motos and one for the 125s while Aaron Pace won the only race in the 125 B class.
In the 125 C class Carlston Burgess conquered the slippery track and claimed win number four on his Suzuki, while brothers Mark and Ali Hatherley were second and third.
Howard Paynter picked up two wins in the 80cc class as the finishing order was the same for the two races with Shaki Easton second and Treadwell Nesbitt third.
The same applied in the 60cc class where Aaron DeSilva had two firsts. Brandon DeSilva and Pierre Davis won Pee Wee 50 and Pee Wee 80 classes, respectively.
