Spring Classic at Coney Island.

Jared Keuntjes, an 80cc rider on his second trip to Bermuda, put on an entertaining show on his way to two moto victories after starting with a second.

Local rider Jimmy Lee Weaver had to settle for second overall with a first and two seconds while 80cc champion Steven Panchaud had two thirds and a fourth for third overall.

American Randy Munro rode to two wins and a fourth for overall victory in the 50cc class, as Jonte Smith took second place after beating Munro to set up an exciting final moto. Munro won the decider with Smith second.

Another visiting rider, Dustin Keuntjes, took second place in the 125 B class after Cory Smith lifted top honours with a second, first and third.

Keuntjes finished fifth and second before a pile-up between Smith and third-placed Aaron Pace allowed the American to win the final moto.

Suzuki riders Ali Hatherley and Shakai Easton took the top two places in the 125 C class while Treadwell Nesbitt was third.

Duprey Joell won the 250 class with Ricardo Nottingham, missing the second moto, placing second. Gary Cann had three firsts in the 60cc class and Anthony Grant three seconds.

The next race day is March 21.
