The competition, Righties versus Lefties Charity Challenge, will feature several of the top players on the local scene playing in both doubles and singles.

Nick Frost, with a season record of 46-2 will captain the right-handed crew, while Dexter Smith, at 46-5, leads the southpaws.

Joining Frost will be Corey Berkeley (28-2) and Roger Boone (13-2), while Hasan Durham (49-7) and Dwayne Hill (49-14) accompany Smith.

Notable absentees are Derron Trott, who is out with a broken arm and Dave Waltham, likewise unavailable.

A collection will be taken at the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Challenge Cup final will be played on Tuesday, March 28, again at Elliott Primary and features defending champions BAA against Bermuda College in a best six of 11 match contest.

BAA will likely put forward the likes of Nick Frost, Dave Waltham and Eddie Gladwin, as the College counter with Rawle Frederick, Phillip Hackett and Roger Boone.

The Centre clinched the Bank of Butterfield Table Tennis league title in anti-climatic fashion when they won by default over Southampton Princess II.

Five players aided in what was a splendid 22-1 season for the new champs, including Hasan Durham, Corey Berkeley, Dwayne Hill, Harold Minors and Rudolph Spence.

The Bermuda Open has been put back to April 8. Entry forms are available at The Pro Shop, International Sports Shop, Sports `R' Us and Sportsman's Shop.
