Lambert came out on top, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 to take the girls under-18 title in the Cromwell Manders Memorial Tournament at the Government Tennis Stadium.
The event had attracted a record number of around 70 entrants, who played through a qualifying round-robin stage at Pomander Gate, Elbow Beach and the Tennis Stadium.

The boys under-12 title went to Kyle Williams, who turned the final around after losing the first set, eventually defeating the much-improved Fraser Moore 0-6, 6-3, 6-1.
Amanda Burns won the girls under-10 final, beating Caitlin Conyers 10-7, while in the boys under-10s Larson Grimm battled his way to a marathon 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 victory over Kris Frick.

Scott DeCosta set Wasps on their way, deflecting a shot past goalkeeper Bryen Hill, before Paul Farrington made it 2-0 with a reverse stick shot.
Rebels replied through youngsters Alec Hill and Jeremy Shrubb. But the rally was short-lived as Wasps responded with goals from Farrington and Tyler Smith to restore their lead.
Wasps continued to dominate after the interval and added further goals from Bert Rodney and Richard Adlam, despite the fine efforts of Rebels 'keeper Hill and sweeper Charles Markey.
