Victor Thompson was again the force behind the winners, rolling the night's third high series of 602 to lead the winners to a third high team series of 2704. For the losers it was Conrad Lister with the high score.

The next match had Marlboro beating a shorthanded Gosling's team 26-4. Chris Bardgett had a 599 series while Richard Zuill's 593 led Marlboro to the night's high team game and series of 1005 and 2789 respectively. Michael Lambe was tops for the losers.

Stevedoring Services had a matching 26-4 win over another short handed team Franklin Travel. Miles Smith had the hot hand for the evening, rolling a 676 high series which was supported by his 255 high game.

Woody Jones contributed to lead the winners to the night's second high team game and series of 955 and 2784. For the losers, Victor Simons had a 223 game which tied for second.

New Mix Ups rolled to a surprisingly easy 25-5 win over Spoilers. Bill Furbert put together three fine games for the night's second high series of 607 to lead his team to the third high team game of 934. Duncan Newby was tops for the losers.

The final match saw last-placed Signature Card arrive with a full team and roll past second-from-bottom Team spirit 20-10 to move out of last place, Tonight's schedule: Franklin v Stevendoring; Team Spirt v Signature Card' New Mix Ups v Gosling's; Spoilers v Tomps; T&E v Marlboro.

Pembroke Juniors and Buy and Sell continued to set the pace at the top of the Mott's Sportsmen's League with comfortable wins over sparks and Warwick Reds.

Leaders Pembroke Juniors beat third-place Sparks 22-5 after rolling the second high team game and series of 954 and 2757. W.B. Raynor of Juniors had the second high series of 587 and third high game of 222.

Second-placed Buy and sell closed the gap slightly with their 24 1 - 2 1 thrashing of Warwick Reds as they had the top series and game of 2799 and 964.

Jim Godwin led the winners with his 222 second high game and 581 series while Kevin Swan rolled a 583 series.

Last placed Warwick Whites beat Social Club 16 1 - 10 1 in a bottom-of-the-table clash. Whites were on the honours list in both the series and game with their 2617 and 907 which placed them third. Hilton Hayward was their top bowler with a 227 top game while Carlton Hayward supported with a 219 game. David Abraham of social club had a top series of 604. D&D Rollers opened a slight lead at the top of the Mixed Majors League when they beat dynamic Four 3-1 while second placed Untouchables were going down to Last Minutes by the same score.

Rollers rolled the top series of 2049 and also had the third high team game of 706, as Barry DeCouto rolled the second high men's series of 552 and Antoinette DeCouto the second high men's series of 2000 in their win over Untouchables while third placed E&C Well Drilling closed the gap on Untouchables with their 3-1 win over Strikers.

Sam Santucci led E&C with his top series of 578 and top game of 237 with Joan Burgess supporting with the third high women's game and series of 200 and 525.

E&C claimed the top game of 710 and second high series of 2038.

For Strikers, Marguerite Lynch claimed top women's honours with her series of 595 and game of 204 for good measure.

Troublemakers rolled the second high game of 709 in their 3-1 win over B's & G's while Mix Ups blasted Dolphins 4-0 in the other match.

Anthony Smith of Mix Ups had a 211 second high men's game while Glenn Tuzo of Dolphins rolled a 547 and 203 third high series and game in a losing cause.

NETBALL NET Play in the Bermuda Netball Association on the weekend saw Deborah DeShields scored 36 goals and Dawnette Smith 13 as AICO defeated Olympic Panthers 49-26 in First Division action. For the losers Kelly Trott was top shooter with 11 goals while Conicca Smith added 10.

Coca Cola dished out rough treatment to Hamilton Parish, winning 52-12 with Carol Bean scoring 32 goals and Sherrita Steede 20. Jadtheda Harvey got nine for parish and Suzette Albuoy three.

Netts were just as rough against North Village and scored 58-27 victory.

Spearheading Netts was Kim Minors with 27 goals and Gina Christopher with seven. Alex Dowling had 14 for village and Nikita Trott 13.

In Second Division play Olympic Panthers defeated Boulevard 36-9 behind Conicca Smith's 16 goals. Flo Simmons got 13 and Ateena Raynor seven.

Netts Whites beat Netts Greens 41-17 with Denise Perinchief scoring 21 goals and Gail Coggins-Kerr 13. Shallen Dennis led the losers with 12 goals while Gina Christopher had five.

Wolves edged Warwick Redbirds 26-24 in an exciting matchup, Debra Saltus (14) and Denise Booth (10) were the top shooter for the losers.

In the other game AICO and PCC drew 23-23. Zolita Dill and Gloria Holdipp led AICO with nine goals apiece while Oneika Wainwright had five. Leslita Simmons had 12 for PCC, Clevonna Symonds 8 and Kewanna Swan 3.

VOLLEYBALL VOL Saltus Grammar School emerged from a three way play-off against Roger B.

Chaffee and Mount St. Agnes to earn the right to a final spot against newcomers Berkeley institute in the BSSF Senior Girls Tournament.

In a closely-contested match against the Berkeley squad they came out victorious by a score of 15-13. The tournament was divided into two round robin groups A and B with the winner of A playing the runner up in B and Vice Versa.

In the junior division MSA over came strong opposition from Saltus Northlands to become the new champions as Saltus and Northlands placed second and third repectively.

SOCCER SOC The BFA is appealing to the members of the public who pledged money in support of the Bermuda national team to honour them before today's deadline time. the money is to be paid at any branch of the Bank of Butterfield.

Administrative Assistant Joe Brown would not be specific when it came down determining actual amount that had so far been honoured, but he did confirm that as much as 17 percent of what was pledged remained outstanding.
