The Olympic Club's 5-K road race will be held on Sunday and will be the last qualifier for the Falmouth team in August.
Sunday's race, from which proceeds will go to the St. John's Ambulance Brigade, starts at the Olympic Club at 9.30 a.m. and finishes at the same venue after taking the runners through Cedar Avenue and North Shore.
Mark Perry and Sandra Mewett are the defending champions and as well as awards to the first male and female finishers there will be draw prizes which includes a colour television.
The deadline for entries if Friday at 4 p.m. though late entries will be accepted up to 9.15 a.m. on race day. Entry forms are available from the Sportseller, Sports R Us, Olympic Club and Pro Shop.
Friday at 4 p.m. is the deadline for entry in Sunday's Duathlon National Championships.
The event, set to get underway at 9 a.m. at the US Naval Air Station in St.
George's, consists of a 30-K bike ride sandwiched between two 5-K runs.
Entry costs $12 per person, with forms available from Sports Locker, Boyles or the Sportseller.
The Duathlon Championships follow hot on the heels of the Ironkids Triathlon which is scheduled to take place at USNAS on Saturday.
