In Hamilton A town centre criterium, with the start and finish at the Flagpole in Front Street. Restricted to elite riders. Riders lap the course in under one minute.
Lap sprint prizes ensure high speeds and plenty of action.
FRIDAY CDP Grand Prix -- Stage One At Southside, St. David's The first day of a three-day stage race. This is a 9.3-mile time time trial with riders going off at one-minute intervals. All categories of riders take part. The race starts and finishes at Clearwater Beach. In this form of racing there are daily prizes and winners decided on accumulated time over the three days.
SATURDAY CDP Grand Prix -- Stage Two At Southside, St. David's A series of mass start races for each category. The elite category covers 75 miles with three hills in each five-mile lap. Other groups race at varying, shorter distances. The hills and the heat are major factors in this race and active team tactics are in full force.
SUNDAY CDP Grand Prix -- Stage Three In Hamilton The final stage returns to the city. Racing takes place on a course which winds around Hamilton, again starting and finishing at the Flagpole. The day starts at 9 a.m. with junior racing and concludes with elite racing for 90 minutes, starting at 11.30 a.m.
