Town's FA Cup loss to Wolves killed off any dreams the Hornets had of achieving the triple crown. But they will look to maintain their charge towards a league title when they take to the pitch tomorrow.

Somerset, too, enter on the tails of defeat, having suffered heartbreak in allowing Devonshire Colts to erase a two goal deficit and notch an extra-time winner to boot them out of the the Friendship Trophy on Thursday night.

However, the west enders have turned themselves around remarkably in the second half of the season, showing themselves capable of competing with the best.

Trojans coach Norbert Simons will expect a better showing from his defence, especially considering the firepower possessed by Sunday's opponents in the form of Darron Simons, Paul Cann and the energetic Raymond Beach.

The St. John's Road team have the Island's best attack, one which has tallied 22 times this season, and also the stingiest defence, having conceded a mere 10 goals.

Conversely, Somerset have had problems finding the back of the net, despite having constantly reshuffled their forward line, and the back stands as being somewhat suspect, a point emphasised during Thursday's match against Colts.

Over at Bernard Park, the onus will be on home team, North Village, to win their battle with Colts and -- assuming Town are triumphant -- stay at least level on points with their cross-town rivals.

Red Devils' coach Scott Morton has previously stated that some of the pressure had been taken off his crew with their relinquishing outright leadership.

No doubt thankful for the lengthy lay-off the past two weekends, one which has allowed for healing after a splendid, but taxing run to claiming the Dudley Eve Trophy, Morton can rest in that he can finally field a fully recharged outfit.

And Colts know that they will likely not be allowed to spot these opponents a two-goal lead and expect to reap success.

Tonight's match at Somerset Cricket Club features a mid-table clash, as Wolves travel to face PHC on the latter's home turf.

While still mathematically alive in the hunt for the league crown, both sides look more like battling merely for places in next year's Martonmere Cup, although the priority will be to move clear of the relegation zone.
