Town, Rangers try again

round of the FA Cup will be at stake over the next two nights as matches take place at three venues.

Dandy Town and Southampton Rangers, whose league match on Sunday was abandoned early in the second half because of torrential rain, will replay that match tomorrow (9 p.m.) at BAA Field. The 7 p.m. opener at BAA sees Dandy Town playing Boulevard in a Junior League match.

The three outstanding matches from the first round of the FA Cup will be decided tonight at Devonshire Rec. and PHC Stadium, just in time for Sunday's second round.

Commercial Division sides Robin Hood, who reached the semi-final of the competition in 1991, and KPMG have their sights set on upsets over Second Division sides Somerset Eagles and Wolves respectively.

The KPMG-Wolves match at PHC Stadium (9 p.m.) was rescheduled after the original clash on October 20 had to be postponed because of inclement weather.

Wolves should be firm favourites, having returned to form with a convincing victory over Hamilton Parish on Friday night. The winners will meet Paget on Sunday.

Somerset Eagles will no doubt tread cautiously against Robin Hood in their match at Devonshire Rec., having thrown away a 2-0 lead in the first outing before Hood battled back to earn a replay with a 2-2 draw. Fire Service await the winners.

The opening match at Devonshire Rec. sees Forties taking on St. George's All-Stars in another replay.

The opener at PHC Stadium sees Robin Hood meeting PHC Teasers in a Women's League match.
