Miami seems likely to be decided today.

Appearing this morning before Judge Celeste H. Muir at Dade County's criminal court are Meshach Wade, Donnie Charles, Shawn Riley, Herbert Dillas, Keishon Smith and Kevin Jennings.

In the afternoon, 17-year-old Tokia Russell will appear at juvenile court. The players face charges of possessing and importing about eight pounds of cannabis. They were arrested on December 9 at Miami International Airport after a soccer tournament in Jamaica.

On Monday, the players' lawyer Mr. H. T. Smith and prosecutor Mr. David Weinstein said they were confident the matter would be resolved today.

Speculation has mounted that the two sides have been engaged in plea bargaining. But neither Mr. Smith nor Mr. Weinstein would comment on this.
