Vasco's teams hit the target
Darts Association League season after winning three of the four divisions.
Their number one team won the First Division by two points over Sandys I and their Third Division side emerged as champs by a similar margin ahead of NAS II. However, it took a playoff to determine the champion of the Second Division with Vasco II triumphing 4-1 at the expense of St. George's PRC who ended regular season play tied with them on 79 points.
Swizzle Inn must have been happy Vasco did not have a fourth team which might have prevented them from running away in the Fourth Division and beating BPSA by 17 points.
Charles Roberts walked away with the lion's share of individual honours.
Roberts -- playing in the First Division -- was successful in defending his High Aggregate, Most Tons and Most 180s titles as well as repeating as the Champion of Champions' winner.
He and partner Reggie Cabral also finished runners-up to Greg McQueen and Vinjino Madeiros in the Open Doubles. The Mixed Doubles was won by Vernon Daniels and Sandra Paynter, while Open Singles' honours went to Norman Dawson.
