A committee was scheduled to be formed yesterday to hear the protest, prompted by contact between the two boats during Sunday's RHADC Cup competition.

Victory , skippered by Alan Powell, finished second in the race and, combined with her win in the first race of the day, the Hurst Cup, climbed into fourth place in the standings, less than seven points behind third-placed Challenger .

Andreas Lewin's Contest continues to head the standings as a result of her victory in the RHADC Cup and fourth place showing in the Hurst Cup.

Contest has 68.5 points, five up on Willy White's Port Royal , which had a second and fifth on the day.

The skies around Granaway Deep were filled with canvas as all six boats in the fleet threw out crew members in order to take full advantage of the maxed out sail area.

Next races will be held on August 24 in St. George's Harbour.
