Jordan Bascome triumphed in the overall Girls 11-12 category in the CAC Age Group Championships in the Bahamas.

Bermuda finished in an encouraging fourth place in the Caribbean tournament – the first time the Island had decided to send young athletes to the Championships in a number of years.

Bascome won the 800m and finished fourth in the long jump. The Island's girls came in sixth overall while the boys team finished in third position.
