Bermuda motorcycle racers head to US meet
Bruce DeGrilla jr. and Cody Sousa-Saints will test themselves against the best young riders in the United States when they compete in the Red Bull Indianapolis GP next month.
The pair, both Team Tuned riders locally, are currently second and third in the GP 125cc classes.
Degrilla jr. sits on 223 points, two points behind leader Andrew DeCosta, while Sousa-Saints is on 207.
Cousa-Saints recently won the Kyle Pimental Race of Champions Memorial Trophy for his back-to-back first place finishes in the last race day, Heart2Heart National Championship Series – Race of Champions.
DeGrilla jr. did not compete due to injury.
Team Tuned founder and member, Cyril Whitter III, is thrilled the duo have been given the opportunity of a life time.
"Bruce and Cody have been given the opportunity to compete in a support race for a MotoGP event which is the highest level of competition in the sport of motorcycle racing," said Whitter.
"This opportunity is rare and one that will give them both a greater appreciation of the sport at a world class level.
"To participate in a MotoGP round is any racers dream.

American Honda has announced that during the Red Bull Indianapolis GP, August 27 to 29, a special youth class has been added for racers riding the Moriwaki MD250H powered by Honda.
The Red Bull Indianapolis GP is a round of the MotoGP World Championship, the most prestigious motorcycle road racing series in the world.
It has taken place annually since 2008 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway that incorporates part of the Speedway's famous oval.
All three World Championship classes compete at the event: MotoGP, Moto2 and 125cc.
