Bermudians shine in All-Stars' victory

St. Kitts and Nevis Under-13 All-Stars cricket team, featuring Bermudians Charles Marshall and Delray Rawlins, claimed victory over NSC Development IX in their fourth match of the Barbados National Sports Council's (NSC) Invitational tournament

NSC won the toss and scored 139 for eight off 30 overs with Rawlins taking one for 13 off three overs.

In reply, St.Kitts and Nevis chased down the total in 18.4 overs, losing just three wickets with Marshall scoring 21 not out.

St.Kitts and Nevis had suffered defeats in their first three matches against Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados Sports Council and the Barbados National Sports Council's Development Squad.

Marshall, Rawlins and Cejay Outerbridge were selected for the All-Stars on the back of their outstanding performances for Bermuda Under-13s during the Regional Invitational Cricket Festival in August.

Fishbowl bowlers donate to charity

Bowlers from the Fishbowl League will donate money to charity at their annual prize-giving this week, rather than exchange Christmas gifts which has been the practice in previous years.

Money collected will be handed over to the Brangman Home and BASE (Bermuda Support and Education Society).

The presentation will take place at 8.00 p.m. at the Warwick Lanes on Friday.
