Bermuda Football Association have employed a local company to handle marketing and public relations.

Former Bermuda Broadcasting Company sports reporter Ian Rawlins was originally hired to deal with the local media but has now been given the title of programme developer and coordinator.

Aardvark Communications will now send out press releases on behalf of football's governing body.

Daniel Pondera of Aardvark yesterday confirmed that his company had been appointed as "the official marketing and communications agency for the BFA."

"We were selected after a rigorous RFP process in March this year. We shall be assisting the BFA in streamlining their PR activities going forward," he said.
