Optimist dinghy class of the Bank of Butterfield National Junior Sailing Championships yesterday.

Black, who won the fourth race on Monday, added a third, two fifths and a first yesterday to lead the series after eight races with 20 points, two ahead of first-day leader Husayn Brown.

Brown also had a win yesterday, but he lost ground after adding a fifth, third and 10th to his total. He sits on 22 points, five ahead of another local, Alex Lines, with 10 points separating Tavis Moonan of the United States from the top three.

The overnight two way tie for first place in the 420 dinghy class was broken with Crane and Tharmotheram moving into sole possession of the top spot ahead of Carter and Steinhoff.

The leaders won three of the four races yesterday and were fourth in the other while Carter and Steinhoff had a first, second and two fourths and are four points behind on 14.
