Bermuda last night, but said he had been surprised by the hosts' "speed and aggression''.

"Bermuda played a lot better than they did in the first game,'' he said after the Scandinavians were beaten 2-0. "They are difficult to play against because they are fast and they are aggressive.

"I told my players that if we were not aggressive and we did not play the ball around a little faster than we did the other day, we would have trouble -- and that's what happened.

"I think we probably are technically a little better than Bermuda and our players just thought they could knock the ball about. So I think maybe there was a bit of over-confidence.

"But tonight I was impressed with Bermuda, their motivation and commitment is very strong and I think that is good for their future.'' Bermuda technical director Clyde Best was equally impressed by a commanding performance in which a player in the blue of the home team was almost always first to the loose ball.

"When you're playing a side of this calibre, that's what you have to do,'' said Best. "You can't let them settle on the ball. If you let them settle on the ball, they're going to kill you, so we had to put them under as much pressure as possible.'' And Best singled out man-of-the-match Meshach Wade as an example of what his whole squad should aspire to.

"Meshach's had two brilliant games for us. It amazes me that for a person playing in the league that he plays in he's still able to perform so well at this level. If we can get everyone to the level that Meshach's at as far as stamina is concerned, we're going to be okay,'' he added.

"I thought we played well under the circumstances. You have to remember our boys had come after a day's work today to play a game of soccer and I think they did fantastically.''
