The Island Soccer League (ISL) enjoyed another entertaining week at the National Sports Centre (NSC) with the two double-header match days littered with goals.

A total of 32 goals were scored in four matches, with at least six strikes recorded in each match.

Antoine Russell, of the Storm, notched four goals, the most by a player so far this season, while the Royal's Adrian Burrows hit a hat-trick.

In the opening match on Wednesday the Storm scored three goals in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter to open up a tense game against the Apex.

The teams traded goals in each of the first three quarters before two strikes from Antoine Russell and a blistering left footed drive by Cory Dowling earned the Storm a 6-3 win.

Earlier, Russell scored goals in the first and third quarter, while Otis Minors added a strike in the second quarter for the Storm. Apex grabbed goals from Wolde Place, Keston Lewis and Kaiwon Dill.

In Wednesday's second match, The Knights beat the Titans 5-2. Former Bermuda Hogges striker Raymond Beach scored the only goal of the first quarter, with both goalkeepers called upon on numerous occasions to make saves.

Knights 'keeper Ricky Tucker blocked a Takeyhi Walker penalty to keep the score at 1-0 and then Lamaul Weeks made it 2-0 to the Knights when his left footed shot went in off the upright.

Phil Anderson was next on the scoresheet to give the Knights a 3 - 0 lead, while Kyle Dowling pulled a goal back for the Titans twenty seconds later.

With the score 3-1 to the Knights, two more goals were scored in a ten second span to make it 5-1, before Mark Steede pulled one back for the Titans.

On Tuesday evening defending champions Kings suffered a surprise defeat to the Union who dished out a lesson of how to show no mercy to your opponent, running out 5-1 winners.

Kamen Tucker opened the scoring to give the Union the lead. Tucker won the ball in midfield and found Dennis Russell who set up the on rushing Tucker who made no mistake.

Chris Furbert equalised for the Kings but Dennis Russell put the Union back in front with a goal one minute into the third quarter.

Rohaan Simons, who hit the upright twice in the game, found the back of the net to give the Union a 3-1 lead before Ryan Nesbitt struck as well.

Otis Steede made it 5-1 to the Union, rounding off a nightmare for Marvin Belboda's men.

The Arsenal still remain winless as the Royal took them down 7-3 in Tuesday's second game.

Dwyia Blyden, who is on a scoring spree, gave the Arsenal the lead and first draft pick Cecoy Robinson doubled their advantage with a rocket that flew past 'keeper Zane Hendrickson.

In the second quarter, Adrian Burrows pulled a goal back for the Royal with a low shot to beat Arsenal 'keeper Gerald Simons, with Jemeiko Jennings equalising for the Royal with a goal from close range.

On a shoot-out, Burrows beat Simons with no time left on the clock to put the Royal ahead 3 - 2. Burrows then scored again before Sergio Goater increased the Royal's lead.

After some good work by Jennings, Jamie Smith made it 6-2 and Jelani Butterfield then piled on the misery bagging his first of the game. Travis Wilkinson did manage to pull a goal back on full time for Arsenal.

Next week the ISL sees the Arsenal play the Union, while the Kings take on the Royal on Tuesday evening. On Thursday, the Knights face the Storm, with the Apex clashing with the Titans.
