Dogs defeated by red hot Utd
West End United 2
Tuff Dogs 1
A Frances DeSilva jr. double was enough to hand league leaders Tuff Dogs their first loss of the season and continued West End's highly impressive unbeaten run which now stretches to 11 games.
DeSilva put his side 1-0 up before doubling the lead to all but guarantee the three points.
Aaron Browne grabbed a late goal to put the result back in the balance but it was too little too late as the in-form side in the league and the hottest player in the league, DeSilva, celebrated a well deserved victory.
Chris DeSilva of West End got sent off for reacting to a harsh tackle.
MR Onions 3 Lobster Pot 3
Lobster Pot came back from three goals down to grab a share of the spoils.
Onions took the lead courtesy of Gavin Thomason who hit a powerful shot at the Pot goalkeeper that could only be parried back out to Mick Gilliland who pounced on the rebound to make it 1-0.
The second goal came from Michael Baker who headed in a Richard Phinn cross.
MR then made it 3-0 early in the second half when a Richard Phinn corner was headed on by Greg Rymon-Lipinski for Mitch Barker to head into the net at the front post.
In the 70th minute the match was halted for a substantial period of time after Pot's Tauriano Trott was sent through on a breakaway and collided with the advancing Onions 'keeper inside the box which resulted in straight red.
Play was stopped while ambulance came to treat Trott, who subsequently needed three hours of surgery for two broken bones in his leg.
The 'keeper was shown a red card for the foul.
Once play resumed, Khabir Dill scored from the spot kick to make it 3-1.
Five minutes later, an Onions player handled the ball in the area and Muzza Pfungwa converted the penalty to make the game interesting heading into the final minutes.
And with time running out, Jamie Matthews' individual effort from just inside the half way line saw him slot his shot past the advancing 'keeper to tie the game.
Pot then had a chance to take the lead when an excellent header from a corner was converted only to be disallowed because a Pot player was using his hands to push off.
Robin Hood 3 Vasco 6
Kennedy Wainwright and Quincy Aberdeen both grabbed a brace for Vasco to cancel out Alex McLaughlin double for Hood.
Assisting the pair in the goalscoring department were Rich Holden and Ricardo Arruda who grabbed a goal apiece, while Derek Stapley scored Hood's third.
Prison Officers 1 Fire FC 2
Sammy Robinson's solo strike for Prison Officers wasn't enough to grab the side victory as they went down to Fire FC.
Marcel Dill scored both of Fire's goals. It is understood the result is pending because Fire are believed to have fielded an uneligible player.
St. David's 2 BAA 2
Desmond Crockwell and Jonathon Denbrook both scored for St. David's as they shared the spoils. BAA's scorers couldn't be confirmed.
