Flora Duffy claimed a second place finish in her category at the 32nd Memorial Day 10K Road Race in Boulder, Colorado on the weekend – a day after completing a gruelling 53.2 mile cycling competition.

The Bermuda Olympic triathlete finished in a time of 38 minutes, 25 seconds in the 10K race.

Just 24 hours earlier, she had cycled in the Super Morgul Classic, clocking a time of 2:47.39 to finish fifth out of 33 riders.

The University of Boulder student is one of six cyclists riding in the Nature Valley Grand Prix next month as part of Fiber One Collegiate Women's All-Stars team.

They were chosen based on their performances at the collegiate national championships in Wisconsin last month.
