The budding footballers, nine boys and one girl, were selected during last week's Bank of Bermuda Pro Soccer Clinic which was held at Saltus Grammar School.

This year's team includes Uzzaih Bell, Jai Burgess, Marquis Burgess, Ryan Cantarella, Calon Minors Ryan Parris, Jaz Ratteray-Smith, Tadhg O'Shauhnessy, Jonas Schroder and Sara Schroder.

Head coach Bascome said: "This clinic is based around how we can move young people forward. Our focus is not just the game, but outside the game."

"Eleven years ago the School of Excellence was introduced to give students a unique summer experience that combined football training, education and work experience for players aged 12-14.

"The objective of this programme is to prepare them for ISL soccer play and train these athletes to become reliable, responsible team players on and off the field."
