Houston back on the track
Bermuda's Commonwealth Games sprinter Tre Houston returns to the track today where he will run in the 200 metres – his favoured event.
Houston ran a personal best time of 10.45 seconds in the 100 metres quarter-finals to smash his previous quickest of 10.58 which he had set earlier in the day on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old's impressive time was not fast enough for him to qualify for the 100 metres semis although he will be more confident of making his mark in the 200.
Also in action today will be CAC Games gold medallist Tyrone Smith in the qualifying rounds of the long jump.
In swimming, Roy Allan Burch and Nick Thomson will swim the 50 metres free while team-mate Kiera Aitken will compete in the 200 metres backstroke.
Bermuda's shooters Ross Roberts, Sinclair Raynor, Carl Reid, Nelson Simons will also be in action.
