Squash Association director Jane Parker said yesterday the event would be the first in a series of tournaments to be sponsored by the retail clothing store.

This week's competition involves youths under the age of 19, with several close matches expected.

Nick Kyme is seeded first among the under-19 group, while Abbie Goodwin occupies the top spot among the females. In the under-14 categories, Michael Stout and Mark Goodwin head the A and B grades respectively.

The finals are scheduled for Friday at 4.00 p.m.
